- Wall mount dog door application (< 7.5" thick wall) ... choose our M/L PVC Wall Trim Kit to easily create the "tunnel" and cover the exposed framing and insulation of the wall.
- Wall application (> 7.5" thick wall) ... choose our M/L PVC Wall Trim Kit Extra Deep to easily create the "tunnel" and cover the exposed framing and insulation of the wall.
- Door application ... choose our M/L PVC Door Trim Kit to easily create the "tunnel" and cover the exposed human door’s sharp edges and insulation of the door. This creates a dog door for doors.
Easy Installation:
- Hardware Included: only 4 screws required
- Rough Opening Size Required:12 1/2" x 17 1/2" opening (NOTE: if using with our Trim Kit, follow that opening size requirement of 13-1/4" x 18-1/4")
Where to create the Opening:
- Measure the distance from the ground to the lowest part of the dog's chest
- Subtract 2"
- This is where the opening will start and go up 17-1/2" from here.
